When our girls were young we spent many weekends/weeks camping at the Oregon Coast with family and friends. About 10 years ago we sold the camp trailer and started renting beach homes. I thought that I would share a bit of our trip from last weekend with you. The pictures show one of our favorite restaurants at Nye Beach, which is becoming THE place to live and shop. It's such a charming little community. I've, also, taken a few pictures of one of the homes, we have rented many times, which overlooks the Ocean. Hmmmm... I think I've just decided that this is the year I will spend one or two weekends painting at the beach. It's so inspiring and relaxing.

My daughter used to live in Vancouver, WA, and we went there when she did. We were able to go around a bit, and we went to Seaside, Oregon (I think that's the name--it's where they filmed part of The Goonies) I fell in love with this part of the country--also loved Seattle very much!
Oh so beautiful, Deb! Reminds of a weekend I spent at Cannon Beach...I so miss the PNW. Can't wait to see your inspired paintings!
