I've, of course, heard of David Hockney, but I haven't really paid much attention to his Art. Unfortunate on my part. Someone mentioned his landscapes the other day, so I googled him. Oh, My! I love his colorful, whimsical landscapes! Now I'm inspired to start painting landscapes again. The sketch above is me playing around with my iPad, doing a quick "iPad painting" of my favorite hill in our neighborhood. I linked David Hockney's landscapes above...check him out!
