Blue Calico and My To Do List

I've set a few goals for myself lately, because I seem to be so busy...I find myself standing, wondering what to do next.  Do you ever do that?  I can be so scattered.  So it came to me...make a list for each day, which  MUST include exercise, and I HAVE to do everything on that list.  It's working pretty well!

Here's my new little colorful cat.  I love the combination of dioxazine purple, light blue violet and gold ochre...throw in Mars yellow, quinacridone burnt orange and a touch or burnt sienna, finish off with golden's iridescent bright gold (which I absolutely love).  One of my favorites.  I LOVE color!!!
Have a wonderful day!!!

Some of my favorite color combinations also - and I love your kitty! Like your work. And yes, I make the lists also. Just don't get to the point where you have a list of your lists! :)

I have the same problem....

actually this week has been a flood of creativity in my head, but nothing translated into visible tangibility!....I'm stuck in a rutt, I suppose....

the sun has been shining way too much here, and it's put me in the mood to just bike ride around the city.....
I haven't even posted for three days now....and that is SO not me!

oh well...

glad to have come by here...love seeing your creativity...the colours, as always are creatively brilliant!

There is something in me so resistant to lists! I make them and keep them in my head, but they only make it to paper when I really am way overwhelmed by life. Still, you have to do what works. And exceptional kudos for getting exercise in there. Even the word is anathema for me! I so love the kitty you've painted, those colors are gorgeous!

I love the colors! This is one pretty cat!

I need to get more exercise, too. We walk the dogs in the morning, but it's not enough. It's a stroll and sniff kind of thing. Jim and I need to do a little more:)

I know where you are coming from. My day job is all about production schedules and deadlines. I really wanted to stay away from that in my creative business, but I am starting to bring some of that planning over. Too much freedom is getting stressful!

I love color too...This is a great example of how to make a common subject exciting using color. It's easy to take a photo and then paint it as is...It's genius to make it your own!
