I've come across some artists recently that are so inspiring. Their artwork is so open and honest. Being vulnerable, like that, is so difficult...for me. I was raised to be private. Not a good thing for an artist...lol. Well, I'm not getting any younger, so I guess I'd better start exploring, and see where my art goes. It's just so hard to share unhappy paintings...but, here it is... "It Is". (It Is Personal)
The saddness came about from a FB post...of the most horrific photo of abused dogs. There are no words

"It Is" sad and needs a hug I think.
Sad but also provocative, Deb. I like it and there is also an ethereal sense to it.
Ah Deb - whether you paint happy or unhappy - I always love it. Hope my friend this isn't you! Take care and do something you love to do today.
Deb, I feel sad about mistreatment of animals, too. I try to avoid any stories that don't have happy endings. I know it's out there and I do my part to fight it, but I can't stand to face it. Brian is right, all of the creatures in our house are sending hugs to you.
