My friend, Lisa, decided to take her treasured dishes out of her china cabinet and enjoy them. I thought she had a great idea, why not enjoy them! That was probably two years ago... finally, today I decided that I should start enjoying my collection too. So I baked some raspberry scones, which turned out so yummy, placed them on a pink depression glass platter, and poured my coffee into a fun, pink, glass cup, as well. Kind of makes you feel like a princess at a tea party. Having three daughters, we had lots of tea parties over the years. I think it's time we started having them again!

Oh yum, I can spell that all the way over here!
Great idea, Deb! Very pretty and the scones look delicious, too!
That IS a good idea--also a special way to treat yourself from time to time--I'll take one of those scones!!
Beautiful, Deb! You can invite me to a tea party like this any time, truly!!
I would love to have a tea party with all of you! Wouldn't that be fun!!!
I'll have to post the scone recipe that I've been using. It turns out great every single time! I can't wait for the fresh fruit at our local farmer's market!!! Might have to try a few savory scones, too! Mmmmm, I wonder what tomato, basil and cheese scones would be like?
Loooks yummieeeeee.......
