Blueberry Scones and ICE!

I think the last time we had weather this cold, 8 degrees one morning, I was in High School. It's been a while! Last night was the worst of the worst, however, when it started to rain. We left the coffee shop around 5:45 and the roads were solid ice. It all went pretty well, until we got close to home. We live in a very hilly forest...and we slid sideways, and it seemed' every other ways' down that first steep hill. Oh My! Thanks to my husband's quick thinking we did get home safe, but I'm not going back out until the ice is gone! So, today Jilly Bean was closed, and I made Blueberry Scones.

I hope everyone is staying safe and warm this weekend!

Yikes! Ice! It's the scariest. The scones look absolutely yummy, though!

I love the name of your coffee shop! Those scones look yummy! Do be safe...we get this kind of weather regularly in our winters out here.
